Rise to the challenge
Diamond Dance Comp Teams
Train together. Perform together. Shine together.
For dancers who are ready for more, the Diamond Dance Competition Team is a chance to take their love of dance beyond the classroom and onto the stage.
Interested in joining the team? Our competitive dancers train together, perform together and experience everything that comes with being part of a team. They strengthen their technique, challenge themselves as performers, build confidence and create friendships and memories that last far beyond competition weekend.
But being a Diamond Dancer isn’t just about trophies or scores. It’s about working toward something together, cheering each other on and experiencing that incredible feeling of stepping onto a stage knowing you’ve worked hard to get there.
Why Join
Why Join the DDA Competition Team?
More training. More opportunities. More moments to shine.
Competition gives dancers an opportunity to take everything they’re learning in class and experience it on a whole new level. They’ll grow as dancers and performers, but they’ll also learn what it means to be part of a team.
Build Stronger Technique
Competition dancers spend more time training and developing the skills that help them continue to grow.
Gain Confidence on Stage
The more dancers perform, the more comfortable and confident they become in front of an audience.
Be Part of a Team
Competition weekends are filled with cheering each other on, celebrating accomplishments and supporting teammates through every performance.
Challenge Yourself
Learning choreography, preparing for competition and performing on stage gives dancers something exciting to work toward throughout the season.
Make Incredible Memories
Costumes, backstage excitement, awards, team traditions, road trips and time spent together make competition season something our dancers look forward to year after year.
Every Style
There’s a Place for Every Kind of Performer
Our competition dancers have opportunities to train and perform in a variety of styles, including:
Depending on age, level and placement, dancers may participate in group routines, production numbers and additional performance opportunities throughout the season. And for dancers who want their own moment on stage, there are even more ways to compete.
Step Into the Spotlight
Solos, Duos & Trios
Make it your own.
Solos, duos and trios give dancers the opportunity to work more closely with a choreographer and create something that feels uniquely theirs.
It’s a chance to discover who they are as a performer while taking on a new challenge and building confidence on stage.
Dancers get a voice
At DDA, dancers are encouraged to be part of the creative process. Together with their choreographer, they can help make decisions about their dance, including:
- Style
- Music
- Costume

Ask about joining the teamMore Than a Team
We’re the DDA Family.
Our dancers spend a lot of time together, and somewhere between rehearsals, costumes, competitions and cheering from the wings, teammates become friends.
We want our dancers to work hard and become stronger performers, but we also want them to feel supported, encouraged and proud of themselves and each other.
Because at Diamond Dance, competition isn’t only about what happens on stage. It’s about who you become getting there.
