Meet the DDA Team
Our Teachers
The people behind the classes, choreography and DDA family.
Great teachers can make all the difference in a dancer’s experience. Our team brings experience, creativity and a genuine love of dance into the studio, and they are there to encourage, challenge and celebrate every dancer, every step of the way. Every one of them also trains dancers for solos, duos, trios and group competition.

Miss Iris
Miss Iris is the heart of Diamond Dance Academy. Since opening the studio in 2020, she has worked to build a place where dancers of every age and experience level can learn, grow and feel at home.
As Director, she guides everything from the weekly class schedule to the studio’s performances and competition season. In the classroom, she teaches jazz, tap and Intro to Dance, and shares acro and musical theater with Mr. Jesse. Miss Alicia leads ballet, lyrical and contemporary.
As a choreographer, she creates routines for the Diamond Dance Competition Team, from group numbers and large production pieces to solos, duos and trios. What sets her approach apart is that dancers have a voice. She invites her students into the creative process, working with them on decisions like dance style, music and costume so the finished piece feels like theirs.
Miss Iris believes great dance training and a supportive studio environment go hand in hand. She is also a big supporter of school, family and everything else her dancers love, and she works with every family to help dancers reach their goals both inside and outside the studio.

Mr. Jesse
Mr. Jesse brings energy, creativity and a love of movement to every class he teaches. As a teacher-choreographer at DDA, he helps dancers build strong technique while keeping class fun, positive and motivating.
His focus areas are hip-hop, acro and musical theater, styles that let dancers be bold, athletic and expressive. He creates choreography for DDA dancers, and he enjoys watching students light up when a new combination finally clicks.
Whether a dancer is stepping into the studio for the very first time or preparing for the competition stage, Mr. Jesse meets them where they are and helps them take the next step. Students and families know him as a teacher who encourages, challenges and celebrates every dancer, from the first class to the final bow.

Miss Alicia
Miss Alicia is a teacher-choreographer whose warmth and creativity are felt in every class. She is passionate about helping dancers grow in skill and in confidence, and she has a gift for making each student feel seen and encouraged.
Her focus areas are ballet, lyrical and contemporary. In the studio, she emphasizes clear instruction, strong fundamentals and graceful, expressive movement, with choreography that lets dancers show off what they do best.
Like everyone on the DDA team, Miss Alicia gets to know her dancers as people. The friendships and trust built in her classes are a big part of why dancers keep coming back, season after season.

Miss Arianna
Miss Arianna is a proud member of the Blue Diamonds, our most experienced competition team, and a student teacher at Diamond Dance Academy. She is living proof of what the DDA family is all about: a dancer who grows up in the studio and gives back to the next generation.
As a student teacher, she lends a hand in the studio and shares her love of dance with younger dancers, who look up to her. As a Blue Diamond, she trains in multiple styles and takes the stage with her teammates throughout competition season.
Dancers like Miss Arianna are a big part of why DDA feels like a family. The little dancers look up to the big ones and dream about when it will be their turn.
What They Share
One team. One shared goal.
Every dancer feels welcomed, encouraged and excited to come back.
They Know Your Dancer
Our teachers truly get to know their students, and the relationships often extend far beyond a single class or season.
They Encourage and Challenge
From first-time dancers learning the basics to competitive dancers preparing for the stage, they help every dancer grow. Each one trains dancers for solos, duos, trios and group competition.
They Celebrate Every Step
Big moments and small wins, on stage and in the studio, are all worth celebrating at DDA.
